The Review Manifesto originally was part of the review policy page, a page I consider essential for anyone considering running a book blog or even just reviewing a book they’ve read on their own site/blog. It covers your bases and avoids any confusion which might occur if you are asked to read and consider reviewing a book only to discover it’s one from a genre you don’t like or just don’t want to read.

Many similar pages contain a list of what info the reviewer includes in their reviews. Kind of like a reviewers roadmap. After stating my preferred genres I was going to write out and include what I include in my reviews. How I present/structure them, but found it made the page incredibly long and more than a little jumbled. So I extracted my review roadmap and gave it’s it’s own page and it’s own spiffy title.

So there you have, the long winded explanation as to the difference between my review policy and my review manifesto. Not that you wanted to know but as it’s my blog I chose to share. <g>
